Small Business MicroGrants

Since our first endowment, we’ve worked to follow up with as many bike recipients as possible, and we are usually delighted with the impact of a bike, and how long they last. In the process, we also hear many stories of heroic women and girls who run their own businesses to support themselves and their families—but who need a certain tool to increase their income or professionalize their business.

In response, we’ve launched Tailwind Grants, a micro grant program for former bike recipients to help them build or launch small businesses.

Tailwind Grants gives 88bikes a powerful new tool to continue to support these heroic women and girls long after the gift of a bike.
